This is the best possible outcome for this young fox that came in so vulnerable and in need of critical care. CWRS would like to acknowledge with gratitude the collaborative efforts of local veterinarians, Fish & Wildlife and the Assiniboine Zoo.

    GHO Release!

Our latest surgical patient has been released! This female Great Horned Owl came to us with a fractured ulna after being hit by a c-train. Thanks to the great efforts of our staff veterinarian Dr. Owen with assistance from Dr. Miller from Royal Oak Veterinary Clinic, this beauty was able to be on her way. As always we are grateful to our staff and volunteers for their valuable help during her recovery. We wish her luck in the wild!
